The Brazilian Serie D quarter-final contest between Tupi and Aparecidence this weekend was locked at 2-2 when in the closing stages it appeared that the home side were about to score the winning goal.
However, Aparecidence's team masseur, who for an unexplained reason was standing on the post, intervened to block not one, but two shots from Tupi attackers to ensure that the game ended level.
What's more, the draw meant that Aparecidence advanced through to the last four on the away goals rule.
As a result, Tupi are believed to be taking the matter to court in a bid to get the outcome overturned.
