Marco Ruben scored in the 72nd minute to rescue a point for Villarreal against Real Sociedad this afternoon.
It looked like Mikel Aranburu's close-range effort following a cross from former Arsenal striker Carlos Vela in the 52nd was going to hand visiting Sociedad all three points at the El Madrigal.
However, Ruben latched on to a cross from Joselu to equalise from six yards out and ensure that the spoils were shared.
The result has seen Villarreal drop to 17th in the La Liga table.
