Mexico international midfielder Jonathan dos Santos has signed for Villarreal from Barcelona.
The fee is understood to be around €2m (£1.6m) for the 24-year-old.
Dos Santos is the younger half-brother of Giovani, who made the switch from Real Mallorca to El Madrigal last summer.
The midfielder made 14 appearances for Barcelona during his five-year spell at the club.
