Chris Coleman dreaming of Euro 2016 spot

Chris Coleman admits that he has imagined the possibility of leading out Wales at Euro 2016.

Wales manager Chris Coleman has admitted that he has imagined the possibility of leading out his side at Euro 2016, as the qualification stage enters the final stretch.

The Welsh sit top of Group B table knowing that wins against Cyprus and Israel in their next two games will book their place at next summer's finals in France and their first major tournament since the 1958 World Cup.

Coleman has insisted that he is fully focused on getting the right results in the upcoming matches before thinking about the tournament itself.

"I have allowed myself to think what it would be like if we were playing in a full house at the Stade de France next summer. I was out there watching Belgium and France in June and I thought 'what would it be like if I was here with Wales?' You cannot help but think like that," he told The Independent.

"But we are not there yet. I and the players can only think about the next game, this game. Once we have finished this game, then we can look at what we have got and then we start planning.

"The difficult thing is the turnaround is quick in two or three days but we know that. However, the next game only becomes what it might be if we do the business here."

Wales face Cyprus in Nicosia this evening.
