Wales manager Chris Coleman has claimed that there is an air of excitement among the players ahead of their Euro 2016 opener against Slovakia on Friday.
The squad will be competing in the nation's first major tournament since 1958, but their preparations did not end well as their final warm-up friendly resulted in a 3-0 defeat to Sweden.
That match has not dampened Wales's spirit, though, as Coleman has claimed that everyone is optimistic about their chances.
"The mood is high," Coleman told reporters. "We are super excited to be here. We are reiterating to the players what our strengths are and why we are here. We have to enjoy this. We have earned it."
As well as Slovakia, Wales will face England and Russia in their group matches.
