Wales defender James Chester has been ruled out of his side's Euro 2016 qualifier with Cyprus on Thursday.
The West Bromwich Albion man is suffering from a hamstring strain, but could be fit in time to face Israel for Wales' second qualifier on Sunday.
Manager Chris Coleman also revealed that Reading's Hal Robson-Kanu is in contention for tomorrow's match in Nicosia having overcome an injury of his own to return to training.
"[Robson-Kanu] looks strong, fit. But tomorrow is too soon for James so we're looking at the weekend," Coleman told reporters.
"With the bodies we've got, we've got choices. Luckily for us at the minute, one door closes and another one opens. There's good depth there."
Victory for Wales would put them just one win away from qualifying for their first major tournament since 1958.
