Former Wales midfielder Mickey Thomas has said that Vincent Kompany's international suspension is great news for Chris Coleman's side.
The Belgian captain was sent off in his side's 1-0 win in Israel on Tuesday evening, and will miss the European Championship qualifier in Cardiff against Wales on June 12 as a result.
The two sides will go into the match joint-top of Group B with 11 points from five games, and Thomas believes that Wales can claim victory with home advantage behind them.
"Losing Kompany, their top defender, it doesn't get any better than that for Wales," Thomas told BBC Sport.
"Hopefully we can exploit that weakness at the back. We can beat Belgium. We have Gareth Bale who's unstoppable, so is Aaron Ramsey and so is Joe Allen. We're looking powerful."
Wales beat Israel 3-0 in their last qualifier on Saturday.
