Wales qualify for Euro 2016 despite losing 2-0 against Bosnia-Herzegovina in their penultimate Euro 2016 qualifier.

Wales have qualified for Euro 2016, despite being defeated 2-0 by Bosnia-Herzegovina in their Euro 2016 qualifier against this evening.

The hosts came close to taking an early lead when Miralem Pjanic won the ball from Ben Davies before finding Edin Visca in the box, but the winger's effort on goal flashed wide.

Wales almost took the lead on 27 minutes as Joe Ledley found Gareth Bale on the left wing, before the Real Madrid winger drilled a cross towards Hal Robson-Kanu, but the Reading forward was unable to connect with the ball.

The visitors thought they had bundled the ball over the Bosnia line on the stroke of half time, as Ramsey dribbled past several defenders before finding Neil Taylor, who appeared to touch the ball over - but the referee chalked the goal off for a foul.

Bale could have opened the scoring for Wales after the break, as the winger beat Anel Hadzic in the Bosnian penalty area, but the former Tottenham Hotspur man's effort went wide.

Bosnia-Herzegovina took the lead on 71 minutes, as Pjanic sent a cross into the Wales box, before Milan Djuric rose highest to send a looping header beyond Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

The visitors came close to an equaliser as Sam Vokes headed the ball towards Bale on 81 minutes, but the Welsh talisman fired wide, before Dave Edwards blazed a shot over the crossbar.

Hertha Berlin striker Vedad Ibisevic doubled Bosnia's lead on 90 minutes, as Djuric headed towards the veteran from a corner, before the 31-year-old sealed the win from close range.

Wales qualify for Euro 2016 despite the defeat, as Cyprus beat Israel 2-1 in their qualifier, ending Eli Guttman's side's hopes of reaching the tournament automatically.
