The Football Association of Wales are reportedly planning a summer friendly in the USA against Mexico.
The game would be Chris Coleman's first official match in charge of the national side.
Coleman was appointed coach of Wales last week following the shock death of Gary Speed last year.
The former Fulham manager will not be in charge for Wales's Gary Speed memorial match with Coast Rica next month, but will instead take a 'back seat role'.
Wales kick off their World Cup Group A qualifiers at home against Belgium on September 7.
