Stewart Downing missed England training on the eve of their Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia.
The West Ham United midfielder picked up a knock on Thursday and sat out today's morning session at St George's Park as a precautionary measure.
However, he is expected to be fit for the match at Wembley, which kicks off at 5pm tomorrow.
Downing has been recalled to the Three Lions squad for the first time in over two years after contributing two goals and four assists to help the Hammers to fourth in the Premier League table.
Michael Carrick and Andros Townsend have already withdrawn from the England squad with injuries.
