Sam Allardyce frustrated by West Ham United collapse

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce urges his players to show more composure during the final few minutes of games after seeing them conceded late to draw 1-1 with Stoke.

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has admitted that his players are struggling at the end of games following their 1-1 draw with Stoke City.

The Hammers conceded another late equaliser on Saturday as Marko Arnautovic's 95th-minute strike at Upton Park meant that the spoils had to be shared.

Allardyce believes that more composure from his side during the final few minutes would have seen them pick up the three points.

"We're struggling to find the key element that will help us to close out games," he told the club's official website. "At the moment we're panicking towards the end of games and not keeping possession. I think their goal was a very good one, we should have dealt with it better than we did. We are very nervous because we've conceded late goals before.

"We should have 50 points by now. We've thrown away seven points in the last few minutes. Had we not conceded those late goals against Manchester United, Tottenham and Leicester we would have our record number of points since being back in the Premier League."

West Ham are back in action this Sunday when they make the trip to champions Manchester City.
