West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has said that Andy Carroll is ready to "make an impact" against Arsenal on Saturday evening.
Carroll has not featured in a Premier League fixture since the start of the season but he has recovered from a knee injury in order to be involved at the London Stadium.
While Bilic has suggested that Carroll will not start the game, he has indicated that the forward will make an appearance in the second half as the Hammers look to move away from the relegation zone.
The 48-year-old told reporters: "Andy Carroll will be in the squad. He is not ready to play 90 minutes but he is ready to make an impact.
"He played a great game against Arsenal last season and had one of the best 45 minutes last season. That is what he is capable of."
Carroll has only made 92 appearances for West Ham during loan and permanent spells at the club since August 2012.
