West Ham United striker Andy Carroll has revealed that he is looking forward to returning to former club Newcastle United this weekend.
The striker was booed by home fans when he played at St James' Park with Liverpool towards the end of last season after leaving the club for Anfield in January 2011.
"I am looking forward to going home," said Carroll. "I went back with Liverpool and I got a few boos and a bit of stick but it was all good.
"I want to go back now and hopefully win this time because last time I went we were beaten."
Carroll has failed to score in all four of his games for the Hammers since joining them on a season-long loan from Liverpool in August.
