West Ham United defender James Collins has claimed that the team needs to be more "street-wise" following their draw with Stoke City.
The Hammers were on course for a 1-0 win at Upton Park on Saturday before Marko Arnautovic netted an equaliser for Stoke deep in stoppage time.
Having come so close to earning what would have been just their second win in 10 games, Collins believes that West Ham must take a more professional approach when trying to close out matches.
"It's a loss. The game's over, we've got to be more street-wise and know how to win games," he told the club's official website. "We've done it too many times this season and we haven't learned from it. Everyone's bitterly disappointed.
"We've only ourselves to blame. The game's over, we've got to keep it in the corner, do anything to win the football match and we're not doing that."
West Ham, who remain in ninth place in the Premier League table, make the trip to champions Manchester City on Sunday.
