West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell has said that his team must avoid another home defeat when they take on Newcastle United on Monday evening.
The Irons have lost both home fixtures so far this season, going down 2-1 to Leicester City before conceding four goals against Bournemouth in a 4-3 defeat.
"Our two away games have been fantastic but our two home games have not been good enough," the 25-year-old told reporters ahead of the fixture.
"We have to put in a good performance and get the three points. I read somewhere that there have been a lot more away game wins than home wins this season. I don't know if it is just a freak start to the season or more to do with the way teams are setting up. I don't know, it is still early days.
"But we have had two unbelievable wins away from home, Arsenal on the opening day and then at Liverpool, but at home we haven't been good enough in both games. Hopefully we can put that right on Monday."
The left-back, who has provided two assists so far this campaign, has started all of West Ham's games ahead of their tie with Newcastle at Upton Park.
