West Ham United midfielder Mohamed Diame has expressed his disappointment with Saturday's goalless draw at home to Sunderland in the Premier League.
Despite plenty of chances for the two sides at Upton Park, they both had to settle for a share of the spoils in their respective battles against relegation.
"We're very disappointed," he told the club's official website. "We needed those three points and we didn't get them. You have to take the point and the point is good but we needed all three.
"When you play against Sunderland, who are at the bottom, you have to take the three points. But we didn't so now it's going to be hard."
Despite the draw, West Ham are now one point clear of the relegation zone heading into Christmas.
