West Ham United winger Stewart Downing has expressed his frustration with the team's 3-1 defeat at home to Newcastle United in the Premier League.
The Hammers stayed one point adrift of safety on Saturday as they were comfortably beaten by the Magpies at Upton Park.
"It's frustrating for everyone, but there's no point dwelling on it, we have to look ahead and we have some big games coming up, in which we need goals and wins," he told the club's official website.
"We're playing a lot of teams in and around us in the next month, there's still a long way to go but we need to start picking up points as quickly as we can."
West Ham return to action on Tuesday when they host Manchester City in the second leg of their League Cup semi-final.
