West Ham United winger Matt Jarvis believes that forward Mladen Petric is a "good addition" to the squad.
The Premier League outfit confirmed the arrival of Petric on a free transfer following his release from Fulham in the summer.
"Mladen is a good addition to the squad and that is what it is about, having a squad as when you have injuries and everything, others have to step up and play their part," Jarvis told the club's official website.
The Hammers signed Petric after it emerged that striker Andy Carroll would face a spell on the sidelines with a foot injury.
