Carl Jenkinson has revealed that he is closing in on a return to full fitness after missing the start of the season for West Ham United.
The defender, who is currently on a year-long loan from Arsenal, has been out of action with a hamstring problem that he picked up during the summer.
Jenkinson now expects to be available for the Hammers when they face Hull City after the international break on September 15.
"Fingers crossed, I should be back for the next game. It seems like a long time out, but I have only missed three league games, so it's not been the end of the world. I'll be back soon and hopefully I can do the business on the pitch," he told the club's official website.
West Ham are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table following two defeats from their opening three matches.
