West Ham United midfielder Kevin Nolan is delighted that his goals this season helped his side attain a top-half finish in the Premier League.
The Hammers skipper signed the league campaign off in style as he netted a hat-trick against Reading in Sam Allardyce's side's 4-2 win over Reading.
Nolan told the club's official website: "That's the first perfect hat-trick I've scored. I have scored hat-tricks before, one against Ipswich and another against Sunderland for Newcastle, but I was delighted with that one. It's a bit special.
"That's 10 goals for the season for me so I'm delighted. It's nice that I've helped us to make sure we finished in the top 10, which was a fantastic achievement by us."
West Ham finished the season in 10th place in the Premier League.
