Joey O'Brien has said that West Ham United need to get points on the board in their next few Premier League games.
Sam Alladyce's side were denied a draw with Tottenham on Monday following a late goal from Gareth Bale.
The defender told West Ham TV: "The performance was alright on Monday night, but it's a results business we're in and that's what the manager was saying to us after the game. It doesn't really matter if you're playing well if you're not getting points on the board.
"We have 30 points at the moment and we need to put more on the board as soon as possible. Saturday gives us the chance to do that so hopefully we can take some up there.
"We have to improve away from home, and from my point of view as a defender we want to be as solid as we can be. We've been letting in a lot of goals in the last few games and that's been disappointing."
The Hammers face Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium this afternoon.
