West Ham United defender Guy Demel has warned his teammates that they are not yet safe from relegation despite their recent climb up the Premier League table.
The Hammers are currently in 10th place in the standings following four wins from their last five matches.
However, Demel is aware that the team must continue getting positive results if they want to stay clear of the drop zone.
"Of course there is still work to be done, it's the Premier League so every game is going to be tough," he told the club's official website. "Even top teams are losing points, that's why everyone wants to play in this league, and we have to fight in every game.
"We're still looking up rather than down, we're positive. We knew that when we were down, we could get ourselves out of the situation - we did that and now we have to make sure we stay away from there."
West Ham's Premier League campaign resumes on Saturday when they welcome Hull City to Upton Park.
