The agent of on-loan West Ham United striker Simone Zaza has said that his client will "definitely" return to parent club Juventus in January.
The Hammers paid £5m to bring the Italy international to the London Stadium during the summer, but he is yet to score in 11 appearances for the club.
The deal included the option to sign Zaza on a permanent contract for a further £20m if he played a certain number of Premier League games, but agent Vincenzo Morabito has confirmed that the London outfit are planning to cut their losses in January instead.
"Zaza will definitely go back to Juve, because West Ham do not want to keep him. He could well stay in Turin, given that Juventus might need another striker. If not, there are plenty of other options," he is quoted as saying by Juvenews.
Zaza has made just five starts for the club in the Premier League, the most recent of which came almost two months ago.
