West Ham United striker Andre Ayew has reportedly rejected the prospect of a return to Swansea City.
The 28-year-old has struggled for game time this season, starting just nine matches in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, new Swans manager Carlos Carvalhal is understood to have made the reinforcement of his frontline one of his main priorities this month.
According to Sky Sports News, however, Ayew does not want to go back to the Liberty Stadium as he reportedly believes that he can "seal a move to a bigger club".
The report goes on to claim that Swans had a £14m bid for their former striker rejected by West Ham on Sunday as the Londoners value him at £20m – the price that they paid Swansea 18 months ago.
Ayew has made 50 appearances for the Hammers, scoring 12 goals and notching up five assists in all competitions.
