West Ham United have reportedly scouted Racing Club striker Gustavo Bou on a number of occasions over the last few months.
It is widely expected that the Hammers will swoop for at least one centre-forward at the end of the season, with the likes of Diafra Sakho and Emmanuel Emineke tipped to depart.
According to The Mirror, 26-year-old Bou is one of West Ham's major targets.
The Argentine is said to have captured the attention of a number of clubs, having scored 43 goals in his last 50 appearances.
It is believed that Bou has been informed he can leave Racing in the summer after he was blocked from joining Chinese side Beijing Guouan earlier this year.
