Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is close to agreeing a loan move to West Ham United, according to reports.
Speculation surrounding Carroll's future has been rife for much of the summer, with the England international seemingly not part of Brendan Rodgers's plans at Anfield.
West Ham have been chasing Carroll's signature in recent weeks, but have faced stiff competition from the likes of Newcastle United, AC Milan and Stoke City.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce has been vocal in his interest in the 23-year-old and looks close to agreeing a season-long loan deal for the target man.
Allardyce has just over 24 hours to seal a deal for Carroll, with the transfer window closing for the summer on Friday night.
