West Ham United have reportedly joined the race to sign Dundee teenager James Cowan.
The 17-year-old is yet to feature in the first team at the Scottish Premiership side but it appears that they are open to allowing him to move to England.
According to The Mirror, the Hammers have been tracking the progress of the midfielder and they could be ready to launch a bid for his signature.
However, they face competition from both Derby County and Oxford United, who could potentially offer Cowan more opportunities in the first team.
Cowan signed a two-year apprenticeship with Dundee in February.
