Galatasaray have reportedly identified West Ham United forward Andy Carroll as a potential signing for the January transfer window.
The Turkish giants have been linked with a number of forwards from the Premier League in recent months, but it appears that they have now settled on their main target.
According to Sabah, Galatasaray are keen to open talks with Carroll ahead of a possible deal at the start of 2019 with the Englishman's contract expiring next summer.
Carroll missed the opening months of the season through injury, but the 29-year-old recently made his return to the first-team squad and featured against Cardiff City in midweek.
The Hammers may welcome the chance to get Carroll off their wage bill at the end of the campaign, but the target man provides Manuel Pellegrini with a different option at a time when Marko Arnautovic is sidelined for the rest of the year.
