Joe Cole has reportedly accepted an offer to join Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer.
The 32-year-old will be a free agent when his West Ham United contract expires at the end of the season.
It was previously speculated that a host of MLS clubs would be interested in the former England international's services, but he would rather remain in his homeland, according to The Mirror.
The report added that Championship side Brighton would be the midfielder's most likely destination.
Cole has made 20 appearances for the Hammers this season, scoring three goals in the process.
