Borussia Monchengladbach have reportedly identified West Ham United defender Reece Oxford as a potential January signing.
Oxford burst onto the scene with West Ham in July 2015, but the academy graduate has gone on to make just nine starts and eight substitute appearances in all competitions.
The 19-year-old remains a long-term option for the Hammers, but Oxford gained admirers during two loan spells with Borussia Monchengladbach during the last campaign.
The Bundesliga outfit failed to secure another deal for the youngster in the summer, but according to Sky Sports News, the German side are ready to launch a new bid to sign Oxford on a permanent basis.
Oxford is yet to make a senior outing since Manuel Pellegrini's arrival at the London Stadium, with the player's only two games coming in defeats to Bristol Rovers and Exeter City in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Monchengladbach gave Oxford five starts and two substitute appearances in the Bundesliga last season.
