West Ham United midfielder Gary O'Neil is reportedly hopeful that he will be able to strike a new deal with the club, despite being put on the Premier League free transfer list.
The 30-year-old has come to the end of his contract at the Boleyn Ground, but talks are thought to have been ongoing with manager Sam Allardyce.
It is believed that both parties are hopeful that new terms will be made before the start of pre-season, according to talkSPORT.
O'Neil moved to West Ham from Middlesbrough in 2011.
