West Ham United have reportedly ended their short pursuit of Sunderland striker Connor Wickham.
The Hammers reportedly made a £4m offer for the England Under-21 international earlier this week, with Sunderland immediately rejecting the interest.
It had been reported that the London outfit would return with an improved bid, but according to Sky Sports News, West Ham have now ended their interest after learning of Sunderland's stance.
Wickham's best performances in a Sunderland shirt came at the end of last season.
