West Ham United have reportedly added Jordan Ayew to their shortlist of summer transfer targets.
In what has been a disastrous campaign for Championship-bound Aston Villa, frontman Ayew has come out of it with a degree of credit due to the fact that he has scored six Premier League goals.
According to The Telegraph, those performances have captured the attention of the Hammers, who also scouted the 24-year-old prior to his switch to Villa Park last year.
The report adds that Ayew may potentially replace Diafra Sakho, who is said to have grown frustrated with life in East London.
Even if they secure Ayew's services, it is believed that West Ham are keen to sign another big-name forward ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.
