West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is poised to make a £3m move for Cardiff winger Peter Whittingham, according to The Sun.
The 27-year-old has been in impressive form for the Welsh club this season, scoring seven goals to propel the club into the top six.
Allardyce is also keen on Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes and is determined to add both players to his squad in January.
Rhodes, 21, has scored 20 league goals for the Terriers this season and has attracted attention from a host of Premier League clubs.
