West Ham United have reportedly made an official approach for Slavia Prague midfielder Tomas Soucek.
With the Hammers only outside of the Premier League relegation zone on goal difference, David Moyes is desperate for fresh faces before the end of the January transfer window.
The Scot is prioritising a new central midfielder, and The Guardian claims that Soucek could be next through the door at the London Stadium.
West Ham are said to have made a bid of £12.7m, although Slavia are likely to demand more for a player who starred during their run to the Europa League quarter-finals last season.
The report adds that the Czech Republic international would act as a replacement for Carlos Sanchez, who is free to leave West Ham this week.
