West Ham United have reportedly moved to tie up the long-term future of midfielder Manuel Lanzini.
The 26-year-old has established himself as a key man at the London Stadium, contributing a total of 20 goals from 101 outings in the Premier League since 2015.
The Argentine has less than a year left on his current contract, although the Hammers have the option of extending his deal until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
However, Sky Sports News claims that West Ham want the playmaker to pen terms which would see remain at the club until at least 2023.
The report says that progress has been made behind the scenes, leaving the English club in a position where they may soon be able to make an official announcement.
Lanzini has previously indicated that he wishes to remain with the East Londoners.
