West Ham United have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini from UAE-based side Al Jazira Club.

The 22-year-old has joined the Hammers on a season-long loan with the option to make the deal permanent.

River Plate graduate Lanzini has won four caps for Argentina at Under-20 level.

"I am looking forward to what is a new era for me. I'm very happy and I look forward to meeting my new teammates. This is a new challenge for me and that can only help in the future. It will test my ability in one of the best leagues in the world, so I am looking forward to getting started."

Lanzini joined Al Jazira Club in 2014 following spells with River Plate and Fluminense.
