Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter has reportedly been identified as a potential transfer target for West Ham United.
Arter has been contracted to the Cherries since 2010, with 251 appearances being made for the south coast outfit in all competitions.
However, the 27-year-old has been in and out of Eddie Howe's side this season and according to The Sun, the Hammers are monitoring the situation.
West Ham boss David Moyes will have funds to spend in the January transfer window, and it has been suggested that he may be willing to spend in the region of £15m on the Republic of Ireland international.
The East London outfit are well stocked for players who can play in the centre of the pitch, but Moyes is allegedly a fan of Arter and is keen to add domestic talent to his squad.
Arter's deal at the Vitality Stadium does not expire until 2021 after the player penned fresh terms in the summer.
