West Ham United have reportedly expressed their interest in a summer move for Porto striker Silvestre Varela.
The Hammers are reported to be keen on signing another forward before the start of the new season, despite recently landing Andy Carroll from Liverpool for a club-record £15m.
Manager Sam Allardyce is now tracking 28-year-old Portuguese international Varela, according to the Daily Mail.
Varela scored six goals in all competitions for Porto last season.
