West Ham United are reportedly monitoring Rangers centre-back Connor Goldson, amid uncertainty over his future with the Scottish Premiership champions.
The 28-year-old has less than 12 months remaining on his contract at Ibrox and the Gers are at risk of losing him for free next summer.
According to football.insider, the Hammers are keeping tabs on the English defender and will consider making a move for him in January.
David Moyes has already bolstered his centre-back option over the summer, recruiting Chelsea's Kurt Zouma for around £25m in the final few days of the transfer window.
Experienced duo Angelo Ogbonna, 34, and Craig Dawson, 32, remain valuable squad members while Issa Diop is also highly rated by the West Ham hierarchy.
Since joining Rangers from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2018, Goldson has become a first-team regular under Steven Gerrard and was a key figure in the side who enjoyed an invincible title-winning campaign last year.
Goldson has made 172 appearances across all competitions for the Gers and has scored 17 goals, including eight last season. body check tags ::
