West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has reportedly identified Marseille striker Andre-Pierre Gignac as one of his January transfer targets.
The 59-year-old has long been known to be searching for a striker, with a long-term injury to Andy Carroll leaving just Modibo Maiga and Mladen Petric as his only available options up front.
According to The Mirror, the French international is just one name on a list of 20 players across Europe that the Hammers are scouting ahead of the winter transfer window.
The 27-year-old scored 13 goals in 31 games in Ligue 1 last season, and has backed that up with six in 12 in this campaign.
