West Ham United have reportedly launched a £7m bid to sign Heerenveen striker Bas Dost.
The 22-year-old, who has been attracting interest from Aston Villa and Everton, scored 32 goals in 34 games in the Eredivisie last season.
David Moyes was said to have personally travelled to Holland to watch Dost, who has scored five goals in 10 appearances for the Netherlands Under-21s.
It had been reported that Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg had lodged an opening bid of £6m earlier this month, but the newly-promoted Hammers have now outbid them, according to The Sun.
Dost joined Heerenveen from Heracles Almelo for a reported £3m fee in 2010.
