West Ham United have reportedly been told that they will have to pay £22m to sign midfielder Bryan Cristante, who currently plays for Atalanta BC.
Since the start of January, Cristante has impressed at the Serie A side during a loan spell from Benfica, with nine goals coming from 28 appearances.
Atalanta intend to take up their option for the player next month but according to Premium Sport, Cristante could be sold on for a higher fee.
The report claims that the 22-year-old will cost Atalanta just £4.5m, but they will demand a further £17.5m if any clubs show an interest at the start of 2018.
West Ham boss David Moyes is keen to add a midfielder to his squad, and Cristante is one of a number of players to be linked with a switch to the London Stadium.
