West Ham United have reportedly targeted Spartak Moscow player Alex Kral, who is believed to have spoken to five Premier League clubs.
The 23-year-old is predominantly a defensive midfielder but provided his teammates with five assists in 29 league appearances for Rui Vitoria's side this season.
Kral is a Czech Republic international and has been named in their national squad for the European Championships this summer, along with West Ham duo Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal.
According to Sky Sports News, Kral is relaxed about his future and has not ruled out staying in Russia after Spartak finished the league in a position that put them into the final qualifying round for the Champions League next season.
One of the Hammers' top priorities this summer will be to retain Declan Rice, amid interest from Manchester United, but strengthening the squad and adding depth will also be an aim after qualifying for the Europa League.
Kral joined Spartak Moscow in 2019 and has gone on to make 53 appearances for the club, with all of his assists coming in the just-completed season. body check tags ::
