West Ham United have reportedly opened up discussions with Al Jazira Club to sign Manuel Lanzini on a permanent basis.
The Argentine playmaker arrived at Upton Park in the summer on a season-long loan deal.
However, his performances since then have convinced West Ham boss Slaven Bilic that the 22-year-old should be handed a contract, according to The People.
The report adds that Bilic is fearful Lanzini's displays have captured the attention of a number of rival Premier League clubs.
It is believed that Al Jazira value the attacker at around £8m.
