West Ham United could reportedly make a loan move for Marseille striker Kostas Mitroglou in the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old flopped in his only previous Premier League campaign, failing to score in his short spell with Fulham six seasons ago.
Mitroglou has since resurrected his career elsewhere, however, finding the net on a far more regular basis with Olympiacos, Benfica and Marseille.
A year on from joining Marseille in a £14m deal, the Daily Mail suggests that the Greece international is being forced towards the exit as the French side need to streamline their wage bill.
Marseille are supposedly keen on a permanent sale, but West Ham will only consider a short-term option for a player boasting three goals in four Ligue 1 starts this term.
