West Ham United have reportedly beaten Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur to the signature of Atlanta United playmaker Miguel Almiron.
Almiron has scored 12 times and provided 13 assists in 32 MLS appearances for Atlanta this term, and both Tottenham and Arsenal have been strongly linked with his services.
Tottenham were believed to have won the race for the Paraguay international, but according to Ultima Hora, West Ham have swooped to land the attacker from under the noses of their rivals.
Almiron, who is believed to be valued in the region of £22m, joined Atlanta from Argentine club Lanus in December 2016.
West Ham spent heavily in the summer transfer window following the appointment of Manuel Pellegrini as head coach.
