West Ham United defender Sam Westley has joined Dutch club VVV-Venlo on loan.
The 21-year-old is yet to make an appearance for the West Ham first team, and will play for the Eerstedivisie club until the end of the season.
Westley, who plays as a defender, is the first player to move to VVV-Venlo since a partnership between the clubs was announced last week.
The partnership could involve a number of West Ham youngsters moving on loan to VVV-Venlo, with the Hammers holding the first option on signing youth players from the club.
