Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez praised his side's finishing after they defeated Newcastle United 4-0 on Saturday.
Martinez also claimed that his forward players are in "a very good moment of form" as the end of the season approaches.
"It's a lot of work during the season. What's developing during the season is a lot of hard work, a lot of good attitude and responsibility from the players and we have reached a good level in the last third of the season," Martinez told Sky Sports News.
"Today was a very good performance, with a real clinical touch in the last third... we have players with a very good moment of form."
The result moved Wigan four points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.
