Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez has admitted that he was "really proud" of his team's performance following their 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday afternoon.
Martinez also stated that while he had been disappointed with his team's level of play in previous weeks, he "enjoyed" their showing this time around.
"I think that was our objective today, to perform well and to be back to the team that we are. We are very critical of ourselves that in the last two games we didn't put a performance for 95 minutes," Martinez told Sky Sports News.
"Today I couldn't be prouder, I am really proud of our performance. We kept Everton really quiet."
Wigan travel to Bolton next weekend, with both teams in the bottom three of the Premier League.
